I see a world where the transformative power of art and the creative problem solving of science blossom together to help children and families visualize the patterns and connections that unite all life.
I am an artist, animator and educator with a passion for sharing the treasures and insights of the natural world.
A new focus of my work is publishing coloring books. Especially now, time in nature is so beneficial. With coloring books you can bring Mother Nature home and immerse yourself in the natural world in the comfort of your home with your favorite coloring tools.
I specialize in producing and animating educational media specifically exploring science with art, having produced over 100 short form animations for kids. HBO Family/HBOL has broadcast forty of my interstitials. My work has been included in the Chicago International Children's Film Festival, The Museum of Television and Radio's International Children's Television Festival in New York and Los Angeles, The Kalamazoo Animation Festival International and the East Lansing Children’s Film Festival, San Diego Children’s Film Festival and Spudfest.
As an educator for over forty years, my experience includes over 15 years of college level art and design classes, elementary, middle and high school workshops and family programs at museums and art centers.
I am a member of Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition, NYWIFT and Women in Film & Video Washington DC. I received a BA in Fine Arts from UCLA and an MFA from The George Washington University.
Services include: 2D animation, illustration, coloring book design and production, logo design, print and web graphics.
